Crystals and Flowers

8 hours of attaching these flowers!! Lots of work but satisfied after. The swarovski bands really sparkle when the lights hit them.  This one was made for an event to support the March of Dimes.

Tristen's 15th birthday cake

This cake was for my son for his 15th birthday! He wanted something a little "rocked out" and in black and purple.  I covered a chocolate and vanilla layered cake with purple fondant and then added the black zebra stripes. The "t" on top was made to look like metal but it is scrapbook paper.

I started this blog with this cake because it is unique to wedding cakes. This type of decoration is really not too difficult however it is very time consuming and your cake can get soft before you're done. The branches are rolled chocolate fondant and the flowers are blue fondant with small gold painted fondant centers.
